What is Reiki?
Reiki is a form of energy healing based on the belief that we have unseen life force energy which flows through us all, which can be stimulated to restore balance and health on all levels.
Reiki clears and unblocks stagnant energies from our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. Overtime, we block the flow of energy with our experiences, traumas, limiting beliefs and feelings such as fear, shame, guilt, anxiety and distrust. Our cells and body harbor these thoughts and emotions which can lead to ill health and low energy. If someones energy is low, they are more likely to become stressed or sick both physically and emotionally.
What to expect in your Reiki session?
Reiki is a safe and gentle hands on (or off) healing technique, which involves the practitioner using a series of hand positions and symbols on different parts of the body whilst you are fully clothed. The session can last up to 1 hour-1 hour 30 depending on your needs. Everyone experiences Reiki differently!
During Reiki, the relaxed state activates our body’s innate healing capabilities and finds the perfect mental and emotional environment for physical healing.
Energy healing provides opportunities for deep restorative healing, soothing and relaxation. We become clear on what it is we want to heal, change or call into our life so that we can experience happiness and wellbeing. When our energy transforms, we are able to shift our perspective, release tension and manifest health, love and happiness.
